For decades, law enforcement, through the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Nebraska, has worked to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Between May 6th-16th, the Nebraska Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will host Torch Runs across the state to benefit Special Olympics Nebraska. Getting involved in the Torch Run is easy! Registration is $25 and can be done online. With your registration, you will receive a 2024 Torch Run t-shirt. In addition to registering for the event, you can choose to raise additional funds online for Special Olympics Nebraska, but this is not required.
As the Guardians of the Flame, members of law enforcement volunteer countless hours each year and generate ongoing awareness about the Special Olympics Nebraska mission. Please help us make this Torch Run a success by sharing the registration information with those in your agency and community, purchase a Torch Run t-shirt, volunteer or participate in other LETR events in your area. When you run, walk, or bike with the Nebraska LETR May 6th-16th, you’ll join other caring members of your community in showing support for Special Olympics Nebraska athletes.
